There's a group of animals with almost no shelters, no advocates, and no one in their corner. They're animals held in the horrific conditions of factory farms — and your help could change everything for them.
You are here because you care.
It’s so cheap to help farmed animals that there’s no need to choose between them and pets:
With just $10/month, you can save more than 200 lives from cruelty!

We work with trusted partners: FarmKind collaborates with Every.org, a non-profit donation platform that has processed over $62,000,000 in donations and is trusted by over 5,000 US non-profits. This way you can be confident your donations will reach your chosen charities and be put to good use to help animals.
We are independently funded: As a grant-funded non-profit, we don't take any cut from your donations – 100% goes to your chosen charities. Plus, none of the charities we recommend are paying us. This way, we have no financial incentives influencing our charity selections, guaranteeing unbiased, independent recommendations for donors like you.
We’re backed by respected voices: FarmKind has been featured in reputable press outlets including Forbes. We're also endorsed by prominent figures like Rutger Bregman (historian and best-selling author of books like “Utopia for Realists”) and Peter Singer (professor and best-selling author of "The Life You Can Save.")

Factory farming is the biggest source of human caused animal cruelty in history. At any one time, there are over 112 billion farmed animals. The vast majority, 99% in the US for example, live in terrible conditions of suffering on factory farms. Despite this, just 3% of all donations given to help animals go to farmed animals. Almost everything is given to the 800 million pets. Of course, they need care and shelter too, but it's hard to look at these numbers and think we have the right balance.

Our top animal charities are transparent, trustworthy and focused on delivering results.
All our charities must have been rigorously assessed by independent charity evaluators, like Animal Charity Evaluators and professional grantmakers, who spend thousands of hours investigating charities to understand how much good they do with each donation.
We look for highly impactful animal charities that will do the most good with your donations based on the best evidence available. We aim to ensure that our list is curated and balanced, improving farming for animals, people and the planet.
We don’t claim that our recommended charities are the only super-effective charities out there, but we're confident that donating to these charities will ensure your donation goes as far as possible to fix factory farming.

The top animal charities can help hundreds (if not thousands) of animals with the same donation that some of the best-known animal charities need to help just one.
But figuring out which are the best animal charities is too much work for any individual donor to take on. That's why we've done the homework for you, with our recommended charities.
By giving through FarmKind you can be confident your donation isn't going to waste and is going to make a big difference for the animals suffering in factory farms that desperately need your support.
Plus, if you choose to support our Impact Fund or Climate Fund, you can simultaneously support a number of complementary strategies for addressing factory farming: (a) Convincing corporations and lawmakers to phase out the cruelest farming practices, (b) Developing new cruelty-free alternative foods, (c) Making plant-based options more readily available for those who want them.

While diet change is a great way to help animals, the truth is, it’s not the only or even the best way.
Diet change can be hard: Many people find changing their diet very difficult. Others face cultural, financial, medical and practical barriers. We want to lower the barrier to entry for people to contribute to solving this global problem, regardless of their diet.
We’re not here to judge anyone: Anyone can be a part of the solution to factory farming. We want to expand the menu of options for how to get involved and celebrate anyone who wants to help, in whatever way works for them. Everyone is on their own journey with different circumstances and capabilities.
Donating is more accessible and scalable: Just $23/month to effective charities can do as much good as going completely vegan. Unlike diet change, there's no upper limit to how much good you can do through donations. Instead of focusing on harming as little as possible, we focus on preventing as much harm as possible — it's both a bigger and easier opportunity.
